Day 50 - 7 miles and 10 locks
Readers of the blog will probably realise it's runs behind calendar time - mainly due to getting a decent 'dongle' signal on the move. This day's cruise was on the Sunday of the Cropedy Folk Festival. We had been warned of chaos by moored boats in the village - as it happened our travels down went smoothly with the interest of many different types of boats and people.
There are many smallholdings adjacent to the canal on the offside - a number have wheeled cabins like this photo
A view of the new Cropedy Marina - busy with boaters presumably stopping on for the Festival
Slow tick over passed the long line of moored boats
There were fields and fields of campers - caravans, vans and tents
I couldn't resist this collection of guitars by the village bridge
The well tended Lock Cottage in the village
Another Les Allen Boat from Oldbury
A broken ground paddle - we have only came across a few
Going under the M40
Moored on Banbury Town Moorings
Night time on the canal by Castle Quay in Banbury
